GAMMA stands for Group for AI in Materials Modeling and Analytics. We are based in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, with close connections to the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences and the Texas Materials Institute.

Our research integrates materials science, scattering methods, and machine learning to predict high-performance materials, infer properties from complex data, and design efficient experiments.
